Purpose in New Beginnings

"Restoring is a transitive verb; it means to give back, to return, to put or bring back into existence and use…to renew. The opposite of restoration is to weaken, undermine, cripple, undo, depress, split or dull."  When we don't restore things in this world they deteriorate and are weakened and left behind.
I want to be a renewer of life. A restorer of people; through Jesus who restored me.

I recognized when I don't encourage people love people or fight to restore people I end up missing out on what they have to offer this world. I miss out on their purpose because I wasn't fulfilling mine.

Hey!

I'm Aspen! I'm so glad you're here reading my words and my heart! I started this blog a few years ago, I was working for an online company and it was a lot to handle and a lot to take in so I made created this blog to kind of help me reset and restore my heart and my mind ( because let me be honest, blogging is cheaper than therapy ). I would write blog post after blog post never post them but since then I've used this as a platform to give update on my current mission trips. I don't really post travel hacks or inspirational quotes, or talk about how my life was miraculously changed it like to stick to hard realities of life and how we can find hope within that.

As I continue to do overseas missions long term I hope to be able to share stories and testimonies of things I experience as well as people I meet. As much as I like to write there is only so much one blog post can handle - especially if I want you to read all the way to the end ;) So I'm looking forward to sharing stories and testimonies with you along the way!

I honestly first started this blog to sift through my feelings and thoughts that had no place to go, but I kind of realized there was greater purpose and intention behind it all.
